Welcome! I’m Tracy and am so grateful you’ve joined us here in The Writer’s Garden. This little corner of the online world is a place for us to grow together. I’m a writer, high school English teacher, nature lover, and gardener.
Not to worry though. You don’t have to have a green thumb to be part of the community. This publication is so named for the notable overlap between the principles of writing and gardening/nature.
You can expect content that relates to craft and the writing process as well as encouragement and tips for the emotional and spiritual health of the writer. Tending to the whole writer is critical. Just as a garden needs tending and expertise to thrive, so do we writerly types.
Everyone is welcome, whether you are a budding writer or are well into your writing journey. Some of my content will make direct references to faith and Christianity. However, all are invited to be part of the conversation. Glad to have you with us.
